  My wife and I decided to take the Savanna cruise from Hilton Head rather than drive. Great idea! The Spirit of Harbour Town is a large boat holding around 150 passengers. It is comfortable and the captain cruises slowly pointing out dolphins and other sightings during the 90 minute trip to Savannah. They offer the ability to purchase reduced fee trolley tickets for sight seeing in Savannah. These are well worth it if you plan on doing the trolley and you have plenty of time with 4 hours in Savannah before the return trip. I signed us up on line and received the confirmation which is all I had to show to get our boarding passes. In the past we have driven into Savannah from Hilton Head, after this experience, Never again unless I plan on staying overnight. This is well worth the experience. I highly recommend this excursion.
